why buy a porsche from weissach autohaus?

The downside is that caveat emptor (“buyer beware”) could have been coined for the internet marketplace. There are good deals and there are bad deals and generally, there are more bad than good..

Essentially, you have three choices on where to buy a pre-owned Porsche:

1. New car dealer

2. Pre-owned dealer (like Weissach Autohaus)

3. Private seller (including private sellers on Ebay)

Only new car dealers and certain pre-owned dealers will offer warranted, pre-owned Porsches. At the new car dealer you're likely to pay a bit more money and you're unlikely to see anything older than three or four years, but you'll get a warranty. A pre-owned dealer could be the local autobody shop or it could be a place that specializes in European cars and has some experience in Porsche.

At Weissach Autohaus, we go one better - we only do Porsche. That's why our Porsches can be trusted and are backed by warranties. Before you buy any Porsche anywhere you need to have complete confidence that the car you are considering has been thoroughly inspected by trusted, respected and Porsche-trained technicians. You should have confidence that if something does go wrong your pre-owned Porsche is backed by a warranty. Having confidence in the Porsche you buy is what it's all about, and that's what we do at Weissach Autohaus: we bring peace of mind to the purchase of your pre-owned porsche.

Lastly, be aware that some cars being sold by used dealers are sold on a consignment basis. That means you are basically buying a car from a private seller through a sale that is facilitated by a dealer. It's not likely to have the same quality of inspection or any type of warranty. As with all private sales, whether its consignment, ebay or direct, once you pay, it's all you.

about weissach autohaus and peace of mind
CONTINUED

Weissach Autohaus is owned by two certified Porsche nuts.

Dan Jacobs is well known throughout the region and the nation as the trusted and respected owner of Dan Jacobs LLC, Hairy Dog Grrrage, (http://www.hairydoggrrrage.com/) servicing Porsche cars and Porsche cars only for over ten years. Before starting his own Porsche service and race car business, Dan spent 15 years working in the service departments of Porsche dealerships and five years as Service Department Manager for Danbury Porsche in Danbury, Connecticut. He is well known for Porsche Club racing prep as well as DE prep and for general Porsche service, not to mention the fact that Dan is the Technical Chair of the Connecticut Valley Region of Porsche Club of America. But even with all that, he might just be most well known for his sincere and honest customer service.

Phil Cracco has been a fan and fanatic of the Porsche marque for many years, owning all things Porsche, including 911 lightweights, 930s, 928s, 3.2s and GT3s. After spending 20 years in executive management in the corporate world it was time to do something more fun. Weissach Autohaus was born.

You could sum up our philosophy this way: the cars that we offer for sale - good, clean, fun cars - are the type that we would want to own and drive ourselves.
