Private Vehicle Sales

“I want to sell my car but dread selling it myself.”
We do all the work and get your car sold for you.

For many high-end automobile owners, the thought of selling their car privately is a process to be avoided at almost all cost. While it’s easy enough to put a few photos online, the key to selling an expensive car is credibility, visibility and presentation. It's also important to respond to potential buyers with time and respect. Rolled together, this can be a time consuming and frustrating experience for sellers. And the more expensive the car the more frustrating the experience can be.

Weissach Autohaus’ extensive experience with all facets of high-end selling can not only lighten the load for sellers but also make the difference between a car sitting in the garage and money sitting in the bank. We do the photography, the listings on our website and on national listings, respond to the buyers and negotiate on price. Our simple fee structure is limited to a one time charge to get your car listed and then a highly competitive percentage flat fee on the selling price when it is sold. It’s that simple. Call or email for a quote on selling your car anytime.

If you don’t mind fielding the buyer’s calls and responding to buyer’s questions, Weissach Autohaus can provide you with the services required to give your car a professional, attractive and inviting national listing. The right ad makes a huge difference in response and success. Keep in mind, we do this for a living!

Private Vehicle Sourcing

“I want to get a pre-owned Porsche but I don’t have the time or expertise to do it myself.”
We find the car that meets your needs, provide the inspections to assure its quality, negotiate the best possible price on your behalf and get it delivered to your doorstep.

Let’s say you know you want to buy a Porsche or other high-end car but you don’t have the time required and possibly the expertise required to find the right car at the right price. The right car to us means it has the important options for you and for future marketability should you decide to move on to another car. It means the car is sound and has been well taken care of, inside and out. It means there are no “stories” to be told and that it was purchased at the very best possible price.  It will be a car that you can be proud of and know that you have invested your money wisely. We will insure it is fully inspected and you are 100% confident that we have found the right car for you.  Our modest fee will be appropriate to the level of effort put into the search and inspections. It will be known to you in advance so you can consider the cost as part of the purchase price of the car. Need additional services like modifications, detailing and transportation? No problem- just ask.

A Porsche is a wonderful car and there are many great ones for sale at any given time. But then there are always a few that look good but aren't necessarily so. The ones that will lead to trouble during ownership or, even worse, when it comes to trade in and then you find out the real history! We'll make sure you are making the right decisions.

Typical Inspection Points:

  • Mechanical Condition and Originality
  • Exterior and Interior Condition and Originality
  • Ownership History and Service Records (where available)
  • Pricing Accuracy for Model and Mileage

Private Vehicle Evaluations

“I found the right car, I just need someone to inspect it."
We use our expertise to inspect your target car and report our findings to you.

All cars look good in pictures. And all cars sound great according to the seller. It may be just that nice but there’s no substitute for seeing and driving the car in person and that’s where we can help. We’ve got the experience required to help you make the right decision and not get a car that you will be disappointed with when it arrives. You should know all there is to know about your new car and what you can expect in future costs.

You may ask how our inspection compares to a shop or dealer PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection). The answer is that a Weissach Autohaus inspection should be viewed as being complementary to a shop PPI. A shop PPI is a great way to get an expert mechanical opinion about the underside of the car. But have you ever received a good, qualitative analysis about the top side of the car from a shop PPI? We rarely have and we've had plenty of PPIs done on our behalf. Before we buy a car we want to know about every inch of the body and paint, something a bit more descriptive than "looks good" that might be typical response with a shop type PPI. Before you make a purchase of a Porsche we think you should know where all the blemishes are and if the paint is original. We think you should get photos of the curb rash and if that ding can be repaired by PDR. You should understand the underside and the topside. To be sure, a shop PPI is a great thing to have done, especially on an older air cooled car. But we think there is more information to be learned before buying.

Our fees our simple. We typically charge $200 to do the inspection and provide you with a written report (Sample Report) and detailed photography of any issue areas (assumes the vehicle is within 1 hour drive time).

Typical Inspection Points:

  • General Mechanical Condition and Originality
  • Exterior and Interior Condition and Originality
  • Ownership History and Service Records (where available)
  • Tire and Brake Wear
  • Full Photography
